I love to paint scenes from working equitation. Aside from these big, beautiful, Baroque horses the traditional riding attire gives me so much more to work with.  Popular in a number of Southern European countries, working equitation has its roots in working cattle and as an arena event it combines both horse and rider agility in negotiating a number of obstacles.
